Where do I log my training?

Training will all be logged on TrainingPeaks. This is easy to set up and use, and your devices should sync seamlessly and automatically.

Do I need a specific goal?​
​
No, however having a specific goal makes developing and planning a training programme more tailored to you. This will be discussed with you at the initial meeting , however if you do want to discuss it before please contact us.

Which package is best for me?
​
We have a variety of packages on offer and which one is right for you depends on how much contact and support you require to achieve your aims.

Why choose TCA Coaching?​

We have extensive and varied experience in physiology, sports science, coaching and physiotherapy allowing us to approach your training in a multifaceted and holistic way. We aim to give you the tools to allow you to train to your full potential and sustain that training to achieve your aims.
What equipment do I need?

There is no specific equipment that you require, other than that to complete your specified training (i.e. a bike, trainers or swim wear!). We will work with whatever additional equipment you have, such as heart rate monitors, power meters etc.
Do I need a TrainingPeaks account?
​
For the bespoke training programme and stand alone training programmes you will be required to sign up for a free training peaks account.
For the coaching package you will be provided a premium TrainingPeaks account.
What if I can't do the training?
​
Being parents to two young children we understand that things come up and training can't always be completed, whether that be fatigue, family, work, personal circumstances or even weather. Dependent on the package you choose training will be modified/adapted to ensure that you achieve the goals that have been set.
How does payment for the bespoke plan work?
​
You will be charged a one off set up fee, which includes a telephone consultation to get to know you and further discuss your aims. Following this you will be advised on what duration of training plan would be recommended to achieve your goal and invoiced based up on this.
